Personalized Learning

Purpose: Personalized content uses data driven instruction, which then provides a more efficient and streamlined path of navigating learning material. My learners are motivated and encouraged to be accountable throughout the learning process with the use of the "level up" system.

Process: Each lesson started with a pre-assessment to gauge the background knowledge of the learners. Then students were placed on a learning path during class time based on their results. The learning path was designed to include more complex learners could "level up" and be challenged with more complex content. The learning paths were designed to be short, manageable, engaging and motivational for the students.

Tools: Google slides, Google Forms, IXL Learning

Purpose: To create a personalized, engaging practice for the learners that gets increasingly more complex.

Process: I chose the 'create a lesson' option in Quizizz, which is ideal for instructor led sessions, or in this case, for self paced learning.
