Project Management
Purpose: applying Project Management knowledge by creating artifacts as one of the requirements for the Coursera Project Management Certification.
Process: the certification program provided a real life scenario, as well as supporting materials (meeting notes, budget & logistics related spreadsheets) that I analyzed and synthesized for the project charter creation.

As Team Lead I was responsible for reviewing and monitoring the completeness of projects.
Purpose: To create a new permanent resource for summative assessments for the VA Math 6 course at the middle school level. Our school system used to have a common platform that housed VA standards aligned test questions. Without this platform our team looked for an alternative solution that utilized the new Learning Management System we use, called Schoology.
Process: First our team had to finalize the yearly pacing guide for the Math 6 course. Next we broke each course into quarters, then created a detailed plan for each quarter. In order to maximize effort and efficiency, we created the first test bank together. Throughout this process, several obstacles were recorded on the issue tracker. When the first test bank was completed, we each chose a topic and uploaded questions into the LMS at least a week in advance before assessments.
